For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains,
but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.

Sunnyboy
We learnt about 2 months ago that Sunnyboy has gone missing.
At times, we wish they were less friendly to humans.

Sunny Boy appeared out of the blue one day, dumped on the farm by someone. I thot he could possibly be from Mommy Dog's litter (stolen when young then returned) but he seemed bigger and looked bit different.
He quickly stole my heart with his adorable smiles and chubbiness which I won't soon forget. Such a carefree boy. I do like him.
Yes, sometimes we wish they aren't that friendly, cos people in that neighbourhood do not all have friendly intentions.
It is cases like this where I fully comprehend the saying, ' ignorance is bliss'. I wasn't able to find out what happened to Sunny Boy. I can only choose not to wonder. That is the only way I can deal with this now.
Understand how u feel. Hope u feel better soon. I am going thru a bad patch as well. I know of a very cute young brown mongrel cross (Browny) who is probably less than a yr old. He has been hanging around my flat area and I as well as some of the residents here have been feeding him when we get the chance. Recently, someone called AVA and got him caught by their dog catchers. He will be put to sleep by early next week if no one adopts him. Browny is very adorable, healthy, curious, friendly, active, playful and doesnt bark. He only barks when he senses danger, so one will hardly hear him bark. I really dont wanna see him die but I cannot adopt him cos my flat is too small. I am willing to fork out the expenses needed to get Browny out of AVA, but I need someone to give him a home. So time is running out for him. Thanks so much for reading.
Jonah - one of 8 rescued from constant abuse, accidents and threats of culling on the streets. A sweet boy with a gentle, loving soul. With your very kind support, Jonah and his brothers have each found a Guardian who sponsors their boarding at the shelter till a good family comes for them. Keep Jonah and his brothers in mind when you're ready for a faithful family friend. Meet our 8 here : http://projectjk.blogspot.com/2008/11/you-can-be-their-guardian.html
Junior and Ginne were heartlessly abandoned by their owners, who unfortunately could not be charged with pet abandonment due to lack of needed evidence. It is nothing short of a miracle that they were found 7 days later around the vicinity where they were discarded.
Be their Guardian as they now safely live at a dog shelter while awaiting their permanent home. To sponsor Junior or Ginne's monthly boarding fee, please email us. Thank you.

Thank God, Browny has found a new home. Someone adopted him. He has found a new home.
