Junior and Ginne were heartlessly abandoned by their owners, who unfortunately could not be charged with pet abandonment due to lack of needed evidence. It is nothing short of a miracle that they were found 7 days later around the vicinity where they were discarded.

Hi, I feel sorry for the Husky. I think it's about time all dog and animal lovers came out in full force and did something about irresponsible owners who buy a pet on impulse, but do not take good care of it and abandon it. Tough measures should be taken against them, a few months of imprisonment is going to help, a longer sentence should be meted out to deter potential irresponsible pet owners from abandoning their pets. And the AVA should do something about the importing of pedigree dogs from overseas; we have enough dogs here that need a loving home. If someone is serious about getting a pet, he/she should think about adopting one instead.
