I hope you are safe, wherever you are

Ginne: black/tan, Junior: all black
Both females.

with a heavy heart, i pen this post. i recollect the times i spent with junior, fostering her with every determination to find the best home for her. i remember those times a year ago when i'd return to find her always, always, in unfailing, eager anticipation to spend some quality time with me. i remember sneaking out of the house and hiding behind the walls of my neighbour's house, playing silly peekaboos with her, knowing fully well that she knows fully well where i was hiding. the innocent face peering through the old fence behind the foliage of potted plants. and a tail wagging in excitement.

which is probably why she was always so excited to see me whenever i dropped by at her home to walk both ginne and junior.

because i missed her.

and the difference between myself and the many others that i have met time and again, is that i treat her like a child while they don't. i draw this from the 'analogy' that should i be reduced to devastation, i'll never cast her out to the streets. for the very simple fact that my dog is my child.

responsibility. commitment. love and connection.

please come home, junior and ginne.

kz, i am deeply deeply so sorry that this had to happened. short of being incredulous, it is totally ridiculous if what i suspect had transpired, really did. human compassion and justice, i wonder where will be the breaking point.

yes, my sentiments exactly. thanks for your concern. not a very good time for animal welfare, at least on my side. but we'll try our best. right now, my only concern and objective are to make sure that they are safe, wherever they are. that's all i ask for.

RULE NUMBER ONE, NEVER LEAVE YOUR
DOGS ON THEIR OWN.Too many dangers out there. They must be on lease.Hope they return safely, keep calling their names or could there be a bitch on heat and they wonder off?

agree. unfortunately junior and ginne's owners have a habit of leaving gate open and letting them out but actually it is just down a short lane to the nearby park, and for months, they have been fine, always coming bak after their romp. The strange thing is: IF they are nearby, they will know the way back. the very fact that they are still not home, points to the possibility that they have been taken away from their neighbourhood....Junior and Ginne are both females btw and both have been sterilised.
