For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains,
but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.

however small, is ever wasted." ~~ Aesop

Thank you for this reminder that no act of kindness however small is ever wasted. This has spurred me on to go ahead and make a cruelty feedback to SPCA against something i see all the time whenever I visit my friends at a certain lane here in singapore called Bedok Ria Place. Every time without fail, two big dogs are chained up, one a husky, the other a golden retriever. One big house, one big garden,2 big dogs, plenty of running space, and yet no quality of life for them.If any one ever goes by this corner house, and u see the dogs and the chains, tell me what do u see in their eyes... What does it take for our government to take it one step further and impose a law against dogs in chains...? What does it take for the authorities to understand that dogs, like humans have needs too, to be cared for...? Would we chain up our children like this too?
Jonah - one of 8 rescued from constant abuse, accidents and threats of culling on the streets. A sweet boy with a gentle, loving soul. With your very kind support, Jonah and his brothers have each found a Guardian who sponsors their boarding at the shelter till a good family comes for them. Keep Jonah and his brothers in mind when you're ready for a faithful family friend. Meet our 8 here : http://projectjk.blogspot.com/2008/11/you-can-be-their-guardian.html
Junior and Ginne were heartlessly abandoned by their owners, who unfortunately could not be charged with pet abandonment due to lack of needed evidence. It is nothing short of a miracle that they were found 7 days later around the vicinity where they were discarded.
Be their Guardian as they now safely live at a dog shelter while awaiting their permanent home. To sponsor Junior or Ginne's monthly boarding fee, please email us. Thank you.
