For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains,
but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.

He's Star's bro
Comet is his name. One of the blessed ones to have found his home, since he was just a few months old. He's grown big and handsome now. It's good to have a dose of happy pix.
Our dear Star. How different they look from each other. But we're sure Star will have the same blessing of his very own home too.
comet's a funny dog.. haha. I went into the archives to check up on his history, and it's hard to believe he's the same dog. lol. Not much of a runner these days (short sprints of a hundred metres or so are all he can manage before he lies flat on the ground refusing to budge unless you're gonna head home. Lol) - are you sure he was a "true blue footloose canine"? haha. loves his treats, loves beds, sofas, rugs and ball games. Lol.

Thanks for the pix Amanda! Guess Comet got too cosy with domestic home life and forgot his street days. In any case, he was still so young when he was adopted by your family and hasn't really romp free as a true-blue stray on the farm/streets. Hugs to Comet till we meet him again!
Jonah - one of 8 rescued from constant abuse, accidents and threats of culling on the streets. A sweet boy with a gentle, loving soul. With your very kind support, Jonah and his brothers have each found a Guardian who sponsors their boarding at the shelter till a good family comes for them. Keep Jonah and his brothers in mind when you're ready for a faithful family friend. Meet our 8 here : http://projectjk.blogspot.com/2008/11/you-can-be-their-guardian.html
Junior and Ginne were heartlessly abandoned by their owners, who unfortunately could not be charged with pet abandonment due to lack of needed evidence. It is nothing short of a miracle that they were found 7 days later around the vicinity where they were discarded.
Be their Guardian as they now safely live at a dog shelter while awaiting their permanent home. To sponsor Junior or Ginne's monthly boarding fee, please email us. Thank you.
