Another abused cat, how many more to go?

Aug 24th, 2006. Airport Road.

Mrs W rang us up and informed that she found a 3 & half month-old kitten severely injured in one eye.

Judging from the eyeball almost detached from its socket, someone had attempted the macabre act of piercing his eye and gouging it out.

Out of a defenceless animal.

A friendly animal made a target of his/her sadistic pleasures.

However, a construction work who handed her the kitten claimed that a heavy object was dropped on the animal from a crane and hurt no part of his body, except his eye.

How ludicrous can this get?

Thereafter, Mrs W rushed him to the vet's, and they couldn't do anything to remedy the wound but were forced to amputate his eyeball.

The kitten now lives his life blind in one eye and like his many abused "predecessors" is undergoing foster care and recovery. We wish all these didn't happen.

For contributions to help the kitten, please email projectjkteam@yahoo.com.sg
No effort is too small.

And the good news that put all of us to shame is that this very kitten remains an affectionate and affable soul to any human.

God bless him.

Endless tragedies....:0(((
I was told that in fact there were many unreported cases, because no evidence or witness....
We have laws to punish peoples who destroy public properties, should we have heavier sentence for animal-abusers? Because they destroy Living Creatures!!! ~~~GL

Which is why NO ONE should turn a blind eye when he witnesses an act of cruelty taking place.

We need to sweep all these filth from under the rug and LET THE PUBLIC KNOW.

Create AWARENESS.

Fully agree with you, create Awareness is very important, and on top of it, should come with severe Punishment, and Education. Then, we will be able to see the Result. ~~~~gL
