My views: so long as the pets are not a nuisance (as some kids can be anyway...) and owners keep them in control, respecting the fact that not everyone is an animal lover, we should be ready to be gracious to include pets on our public transport.

Junior and Ginne were heartlessly abandoned by their owners, who unfortunately could not be charged with pet abandonment due to lack of needed evidence. It is nothing short of a miracle that they were found 7 days later around the vicinity where they were discarded.

Agree with it! But, to consider other non-animals lovers on trains, I suggest that LTA reserve one cabin for the owners and their pets. On top of that, this special arrangement only for off-peak hours, so it's fair for other passengers (such as students and workers)who find it's too crowded during peak-hours. ~~~gL
