The Journey Goes on with Your Every Support

as some of you might already know, Project JK's aim is to HELP STERILISE our street dogs, SAVE the SICK, WOUNDED & OLD. The project is borne out of a simple wish and longing to reduce the amount of unnecessary suffering of our street dogs born into a world that quite literally has no place for them.

Some abandoned by owners who should know better, some children of packs that long roam our streets, industrial and agricultural estates, pining for human attention to come their way, to catch some whiff of promising leftover scraps, to seek shelter from the elements of nature.

Project JK is not a gargantuan reach-out to change the world overnight, but along the way, a platform to EDUCATE the masses the issues revolving around animal welfare -- in particular, stray realities -- and increase gradually the public's awareness of the likes of responsible pet ownership, pet abandonment, impulse buying -- all of which are root causes of our increasing, if not unceasing stray numbers.

Initiated sometime in March '06, the project has gathered momentum in reaching out to the masses to relook at what is often overlooked, and view the world from the eyes of a dog. To those who've already embarked with steady steps on this ongoing journey to create a better world for the strays, THANK YOU, THANK YOU and THANK YOU.

To the dogs that are long gone, and had been with us with the best quality of life we strove to provide, may you rest in peace, for you have paved the way with sacrifices that those of future waves to come, can only respect and be thankful for.

The journey goes on with your every support in our cause.
