Cruelty to cat -- how is this EVER acceptable?

a few days ago, en route conducting some straywork, we stumbled on this cat -- petite, long-haired -- that was sloshed by scalding hot liquid that not only removed a good portion on her fur on her back, but a scar that she'll remember for life.

she was listlessly roaming the streets, bare flesh exposed to the world; yet, a trusting and forgiving soul that ate from the human hands of the caregiver.

like many a cruelty case, this is a clear indication of human perversion -- unacceptable!

for a moment, we feared she might not be able to make it but she is a fighter and we know she should not be denied the right to continue living. let our prayers be with her as she trudges along this painstaking recovery, but with a spirit that is so gentle, elegant and strong, that shows how tolerant our felines are of society, of hardship, that is unlike of those who had deliberately inflicted (unnecessary) pain on animals.

if you'd like to lend your support of any kind to the cat, please email projectjkteam@yahoo.com.sg.
