This infamous Sam-Seng Kia

We started off calling him Puppy-Boy and the name sort of stuck.

In the mafia world of dogs, Puppy-Boy would be the Godfather. This boy is, in short, a gangster. (C, we meant this in a good way. Your big boy is such a joker!)

The common word that keeps popping up for him is: ALPHA..ALPHA..ALPHA.

At his very first adoption fair, his super boisterous manner earned him the nickname "Alpha", from then he sort of lived up to that name! But I guess, he is just so so FULL of life that he's always raring to go go go!! He makes me tired.

So how did Puppy-Boy come along? Sometime in July 05, V showed me this temporary construction site where one of the indian workers had taken in a very small pup. I walked in and spoke with the worker who then pulled out from under the wooden planks of the quarters this sleepy looking fellow, barely 2 months of age.

He has a gorgeous chestnut brown fuzz and unique greenish-grey eyes. No trace of sam-seng blood in him. Yet.

The worker had 'stolen' him from his mom and siblings from another site and brought him in as their pet. He said they will care for him but later on, decided to give him up.

After a failed rehoming attempt, Puppy-Boy is now happily with C, one of the most steady and patient ladies we know. In the initial period, our little gangster was so rowdy that C went to work with long, red scratches all down her arms! Her colleagues must have been secretly talking about some abuse back home.

When we visit him, he is like a mini tornado, dashing down the hall, jumping on you and the worst, the nipping. We left our visits thoroughly abused.

But look at this fellow - that face - how to be angry for long? It is that face, I guess, and that hilarious gangster attitude, that melts C's heart.

And yes, he has outgrown much of the nipping stage, thank goodness.

Thank you so much C for taking our little gangster in. Your patience is amazing!
