Abbie -- back into RECOVERY

We visited the lodge, as volunteer-ushers and -tour guides to some 40 guests.

Took the opportunity, before the guests arrived, to check on how our dogs are doing.

Thanks to accurate diagnosis and proper treatment, Little Abbie has risen from the ranks of deterioration and is back into recovery. A part of his hair has grown back, revealing his black/tan coloration and handsomeness that emerged from the battle against the dreadful onslaught of demodectic mites.

Abbie has moved into the new clinical ward, where he has more space to move around and a bigger field of vision to the blessed world of the lodge. Mama dog and Grey ambled towards us and mingled with Abbie, detecting familiarity in one another.

Same place of origin, same roots!
